Ranch Rodeo 2012

The 2nd annual ranch rodeo hosted by SSRC will be held August 11th from 3pm-6pm at the Missouri Valley Complex. It will be a wild time and we are very excited! There will be a show put on by some youngsters sometime during the event. Thank you to all our wonderful sponsors and volunteers for making such an event possible!

Horses Being Prepped for Their New Job!

Sunny- Sunny is an 18 year old gelding who was donated to the facility. He stands around 15 hands.

Whiskey- Whiskey is an 8 year old gelding who stands around 13 hands. He was donated the facility.

Ally- Ally is an 8 year old mare who was donated to the facility and stands around 13 hands.

Clancy- Clancy is a 12 year old gelding who was donated to our facility and stands around 15 hands. 

Meet the Horses of Soaring Spirits!

Freckles-This a quiet, gentle old horse that can tolerate anything. He is around 15 hands and was donated to our facility.

Patch- Patch is quiet 16 year old mare who almost anybody can ride. We even have a participant able to ride her all by herself! She also stands around 15 hands and has always lived at SSRC.

Rocket-Rocket is a 24 year old gelding who stands around 15.5 hands. He is quiet and gentle and has always lived at SSRC.

Cody- Cody is a 7 year old gelding who was donated to the facility. He stands around 15 hands and is very gentle and loves people.

Lightening(Hope to get picture soon!)- Lightening is a 4 year old gelding who stands around 12 hands. He is super quiet and gentle and was donated to SSRC.

New Addition!

We are pleased to welcome our new addition to the SSRC horse herd!! Thunder is a quiet little dun gelding that stands around 14 hands high. He was donated by a man out of Bismarck, North Dakota. We are currently working with him to get him ready for participants and are excited to use him.
